Pilgrims and Indians

This past week at school Katelynn has been learning about Thanksgiving and its origins. On Friday she came home with an Indian vest, necklace drum and headband they had made. She played Indian almost all day long. Today she came home with a gumdrop turkey and pilgrim faces they had made. She keeps singing a song about Mr. Turkey. She loves school so much and I'm amazed at all the fun things she comes home with. I'm grateful she has this opportunity to learn so many things.
