Katelynn turned 5 years old on August 25, 2010. In the morning I took her to Petsmart where I bought her a parakeet for her birthday. She picked a blue and white one which she named "Bluie". She loves the bird and we all enjoy him. She got a birthday card from her Great Aunt Breta (my mom's younger sister) and a phone call from her best friend Cidney who lives in Ohio now. She had her first soccer game that night and did great! Grandma Sanford was able to come. After the game we had cake and she opened a couple of her presents.
On Thursday she had her Kindergarten Assessment and then had her check up at the doctor. She is doing great and is still very petite!
On Saturday the 28th we had her family birthday party. She had so much fun and got lots of great presents. Thank you to everyone for all your love and support of Katelynn on her special day!

I am sorry I wasn't able to make it to the party on Saturday night. I am sure she enjoyed the family and birthday fun!
