Easter Weekend 2011

Easter Weekend this year was very busy! On Friday afternoon the girls and I went to my sister's to dye Easter Eggs. It was a lot of fun and my girls always love going to Bonnie's.

On Saturday the 23rd my dad invited us over to his house for an Easter Egg Hunt. My girls had a lot of fun and made a haul! That was at 12 noon and at 3pm we hosted an Easter Party at our house for Wes' side of the family. Unfortunately it started to rain so we had to have the egg hunt in our basement. Despite the rain, we had a lot of fun.
That night, Katelynn was so excited for the Easter Bunny to come she couldn't sleep. She woke up twice during the night and was awake by 6:30am. I guess my days of sleeping in on holidays are now officially over! The Easter Bunny was good to the girls and they especially enjoyed the candy! After church I made dinner and had my mother-in-law over to eat. It was a fun Easter Weekend!
