My dad wasn't able to use his tickets to the BYU football game today so he gave them to Wes and I. For the first time I had a young woman from our ward babysit the girls. They have only ever been babysat by family and mainly my mother and father. I knuckled under and did it. The girls had a great time with Devere and she said she would love to babysit for us again!
The game was good and I enjoyed sitting in the fall air with my husband smelling popcorn and hot dogs. The Cougars beat CSU 42-23. The mountains were alive with fall colors and we had a great view of the Provo Temple and Y mountain. It was nice to have a date with my husband. It's only the second one we've been on since my mother died 6 months ago. I thought of my mother and how much she loved BYU football. I am grateful for my memories and her great influence in my life!

I'm glad you and Wes were able to get out. Now you can use the yw to babysit and go out on more dates!
I'm glad that you guys got to go. I remember teasing Aunt Cindy about the BYU Football team. Good memories.
It was a decent game but the offense couldn't quite get it together. Amazingly enough they pulled off a good win! Great defensive game!
