Wes celebrated his birthday on March 9th. I had my step-children and grandchildren over for dinner, cake and ice cream on Sunday the 7th. It was nice to spend time with them since we don't see them very often. Katelynn kept asking when Daddy's grandkids were coming over. It was so cute and I know she doesn't understand the concept yet. For his birthday present, Katelynn wanted to get Daddy some "Jungle Pants". She got the idea from a Barney video where they explored the jungle. The kids were wearing bermuda shorts and she called them "Jungle Pants". So she and Elizabeth gave Wes some "Jungle Pants". They both wanted to wear them
so I put both of them in at the same time. Katelynn thought it was fun, but Elizabeth wasn't too happy about it.
I didn't remember to get a family picture until after Amber, Kenneth and their two children left. I'll have to be more on the ball next time!
Tuesday, Wes' birthday, I made meatloaf, baked potatoes and biscuits for dinner. Wes loves meatloaf. Later his mother came over with our brother-in-law Travis and our niece Kinley. It's so nice to spend time with our family and have their love and support. Thank you to everyone for making this day so special for Wes!
