Pizza Plane

On Wednesday April 21st Katelynn's preschool had a Transportation Parade. The subject of the week was different types of transportation and the jobs that go along with it. The kids were asked to bring a vehicle of their choice made out of a box to wear in a parade around the block. Katelynn wanted a pink airplane. A few days before the parade we had some Brick Oven pizza at my dad's. Wes kept the pizza boxes and used them for the wings and tail. We used a file box for the body. Wes then used the Brick Oven logo for the propeller and we pasted sayings from the boxes on the wings and tail. We had to use black on the body because it was the only color that would cover the box. Katelynn Loved her "Pizza Plane" and had a great time walking around the block. Luckily I live on the parade route and was able to watch from my house. Grandma Sanford came to watch too and Katelynn was really excited to see her. It was a fun day and all of us (including Elizabeth) had fun making and painting her "Pizza Plane".

What a cute idea! Wes did a fantastic job creating that plane! I bet she had the best of class!
