Memory Lane

I've been going through some old cards and letters this last week and have come across some real treasures. I have found birthday cards from my grandparents and a Christmas Card from my Grandmother Wilkerson which still contains three 1 dollar bills she always taped inside of them. What precious memories that brought back! I found some sweet notes written to me from my Granddaddy Wilkerson. They brought tears to my eyes and laughter to my heart. I also found the last Birthday Card I ever received from my mother. I don't know the exact quote or who said it but it expresses my sentiments at this time...
"God gave us memories so we could have roses in December."

"Dear Amy-your dad nor your husband to be will ever love you as much as your grandad B.W.W. does!!! Please remind me of this great love, B.W. granddad."

"I just finished looking at your picture, and noticed again the dimples and the beauty of your face. If your dad and mother fail you, just remember I have you sealed to me by patriarchal power and priesthood- Grandad Ugly"

Christmas Card from my Grandmother Wilkerson

"I love you! Mother"
"Someday, I hope that you have a daughter just like you and that she brings you the Joy that you have me!!"

"Thank you for Katelynn and Elizabeth! I love you, Mother"

A Birthday card from my parents and my sisters when I was 3 years old.
