Trunk Or Treat

Even though we live in Utah, a lot of people aren't LDS so our Ward had a Trunk or Treat on Saturday evening. That way we didn't have to go out on Sunday. This year Katelynn was a Witch and Elizabeth was a Ladybug. We got to the church a few minutes late and were worried about the ominous cloud rolling our way. We were at the last car when the skies ripped open and we were pelted with hail and rain. The wind was so fierce, the hail felt like BBS hitting our faces. Wes and I both picked up a child and ran to our car. We were soaked and the girls were crying.
We then headed to Grandma Sanford's for some homemade bread and chili. Grandma put the girls costumes in the dryer and we just hung out and visited. Finally the rain let up and we went home. I took the girls out to a few houses in our neighborhood and they really enjoyed it. After the girls and I got back, Amber and Kenneth came by with the grand kids. Brixton was a Ninja and Kaizlee was a 49ers cheerleader. Despite the bad weather it was a fun Halloween.
