Yesterday was Elizabeth's first birthday. I can't believe my little baby is 1 year old! She has brought so much joy and happiness to me and her family. I can't imagine our lives without her. I'm so grateful to Heavenly Father for sending such a precious child to our family. I feel blessed, honored and awed that I have stewardship over her.
We had cake and ice cream for her last night and are having another party for her on Saturday for the extended family. Amber her husband Kenneth and their son Brixton came over along with Kyle who came down from Salt Lake. Elizabeth got a Fisher Price fun sounds zoo, a ladybug hooded towel and some books from us. From her sister Amber and her family she got a Fisher Price pull along dog. Of course Katelynn has played with the toys as much if not more than Elizabeth. I have to keep reminding her they are Elizabeth's toys but she is welcome to share as long as she doesn't take them away from Elizabeth.
It was a fun day and Elizabeth loved her cake and enjoyed digging her fingers into it. She wasn't as messy as I thought she'd be, but it was messy enough! The cutest part was when I got her ready for bed. She loves to brush her own teeth and she cried and cried when we took the toothbrush away. Wes gave it back to her and she didn't let go of it until she threw it out of the crib before she went to sleep. Today I take her in for her well baby check up and I hope she's close enough to 20lbs. so I can turn her car seat around in the car!

I cannot believe she is 1 it feels like yesterday she was just born. She is soooo adorable! We really need to get together soon. Miss and luv ya!!
