On Friday May 1st, my step-daughter Amber graduated from Utah Valley University. Wes, the girls and I went to see her graduate. President Thomas S. Monson was the speaker at her commencement. It was really neat to hear him speak and to see her graduate. President Eyring, President Uchtdorf and their wives were also at the graduation. Both President Monson and his wife received honorary degrees from the University.
Amber graduated with her bachelor's in Elementary Education. Friday was also her son, Brixton's 3rd birthday. We celebrated his birthday on Saturday night with a party at the park. It was a good weekend and tomorrow Amber is being induced with her baby girl. We are excited to become grandparents again and can't wait to see our new granddaughter.
