My birthday was May 13th. I made a cake because Katelynn kept begging for one. I just did a box cake and frosting but it was still good. Katelynn enjoyed helping me and she especially enjoyed licking the spoon! It was so cute when she sang "Happy Birthday" to me. That night my dad took us out to eat at Brick Oven. It was really good. After dinner we went to my dad's and had cake. I had a hard time this year without my mother. She always called me on my birthday and told me about the day I was born. It was really hard not hearing that this year. I really miss her and wish I could have heard her voice wishing me a Happy Birthday.

My niece Ashely had her birthday on May 14th. That Saturday night we went up to Outback in Salt Lake to eat. It was a lot of fun and she had a good time. Her grandma and grandpa Jones were there along with my dad and my cousin Jenny. We both had good birthday's and I always enjoy having her birthday the day after mine.
