Day out with Grandpa

On Saturday August 8th, the girls and I spent the day with my dad. We went to Heber and ate lunch at the Dairy Keen. The girls loved watching the trains going around inside. They especially enjoyed the ice cream we got for dessert!
After lunch we drove up to Mirror Lake. It was so beautiful and very cold! We guessed it was in the mid-40's up there. The elevation is 10,700 feet. We got out and walked around a little bit then went back to the car because it was too cold. Elizabeth was so funny, she kept trying to go into the lake and I had a hard time keeping her out of it. Katelynn just liked throwing rocks in the lake. It was a fun day and we really enjoyed the time spent with my dad. We want to go camping there next year.
