Paintbrush Cookies

For Family Home Evening last night we made Halloween Paintbrush Cookies. I started this tradition with my children a few years ago. I used to do it with my family when I was growing up. My girls loved it! Elizabeth really got into painting after Wes showed her what to do. When the cookies had all been painted she cried because she had been having so much fun. She would point to the ghost cookies and say "Oooooo", then she would point to the cat cookies and make a meowing sound. She gouged the cookies with the paintbrush and then would pat the cookies. She was so much fun to watch and Wes and I just laughed and enjoyed her antics. Katelynn took her time and very daintily painted her cookies. I love doing fun traditions with my children and I look forward to many more to come!
